Certifications

Throughout the years, the quality-conscious Ferme St-Ours got several farming certifications. Customers can be guaranteed of the strictest requirements regarding quality, environment and wholesomeness.

 

Organic Certifications

Most of the Ferme St-Ours’s products are certified organic since 2008. Eggs, sunflower oil, maple products and cereals were all accredited by Ecocert Canada.

HACCP

Farmers who meet the HACCP standards guarantee quality. The objective of these standards is to prevent problems during food production and processing. To meet HACCP standards means that the work environment is appropriate regarding accommodations, transport, storage, equipment, employees, fight against vermin, etc.

COSPOC

The COSPOC certification is related to the implementation of biosafety in the table egg production sites such as the establishment of visitation books.

PCQOI

The PCQOI certification differs from the COSPOC in the way that it applies to the hatching egg producers.

CSST

Ferme St-Ours has been accredited for having an accident-free work-environment since the implementation of the CSST monitoring.

PAF

This certification is a matter of compliance with certain environmental standards.

Well-being of Animals

Implemented by the Egg Farmers of Canada, it certifies that hens are accommodated according to the Canadian ethical standards.

Avian Diseases Prevention Program

Ferme St-Ours has already been participating in this program for some years now.
